Description

The BCFP1808ME MCC controller is designed for the control and monitoring of pumps, ventilation fans, and smoke exhaust systems in building automation and safety applications. It enables flexible manual or automatic operation, supporting both daily system performance and emergency response requirements. The controller offers enhanced safety through emergency smoke exhaust functionality, integrated alarm management, and fault logging. It also features smart monitoring capabilities including motor runtime tracking, start event counting, and remote diagnostics.

The BCFP1808ME supports seamless integration with building management systems (BMS) and SCADA platforms via Modbus TCP over Ethernet and Modbus RTU over RS485. The device includes 8 relay outputs (max. 5 A, resistive load), 18 opto-isolated 24 V digital inputs, and a dedicated RS485 interface for connecting room thermostats, touch switches, dimmers, and Modbus/DALI or Modbus/KNX gateways. It also supports automatic duty/standby motor switching to ensure continuous operation and reduce system downtime. Optimized motor coordination contributes to energy savings and equipment longevity. The controller operates on 24V DC supply voltage and is built for high reliability in demanding control environments.
