Description

BCDI2000HB is a modular I/O expansion module designed for use in boiler rooms and heating/cooling plants as part of a scalable control system. The module features 20 opto-isolated digital inputs rated for 24 V DC, ideal for monitoring field signals such as switches, sensors, flow detectors, and equipment status contacts. Each input is electrically isolated to ensure signal integrity and protection against electrical noise or ground potential differences. Communication with the interface module is handled via a high-speed HB bus, which also supplies power to the I/O module, minimizing wiring requirements and installation complexity. Integration with Building Management Systems (BMS) is achieved through the interface module via Modbus TCP, while local configuration is supported via RS485 Modbus RTU. BCDI2000HB is engineered for robust field performance, enabling accurate signal acquisition in demanding mechanical plant environments. Its modular architecture supports flexible system design and allows for seamless expansion of input capacity without altering the control infrastructure.
